Description of the excursion:

Literally, “talweg” means “valley path” and what better place in the Val Ferret, at the foothills of the Grandes Jorasses, to fully grasp its meaning!

Discover a mosaic of dramatic different habitats, which all strictly depend on the water element: a true botanical treasure. 

Program:

• Meeting in Courmayeur
• Arrival in Planpincieux 
• We will begin our excursion by travelling along the Dora Ferret stream starting from the Pra Sec area
• We will travel along the Val Ferret towards Fréboudze, and continue towards Arnouva
• Lunch at the restaurant to taste traditional dishes from the Aosta Valley area
• After a short break, we will start heading back to Planpincieux and transfer to Courmayeur
